Fresh Grape Soda

Adapted slightly from Eating Well.

Ingredients

  • 4 cup red seedless grapes
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 cups seltzer
  1. Place grapes in a blender and blend until pureed.  
  2. Pour pureed grapes through a fine mesh strainer placed over a bowl.
  3. Pour the pureed grapes through a fine mesh sieve placed over a bowl, and reserve grape juice.
  4. Stir lemon juice and honey into the grape juice until honey is dissolved. Add seltzer. 
  5. Divide among 4 glasses.

Grape Fingerprint Pictures

With a few basic art supplies, little fingers can create an entire vineyard of grapes! 

Supplies

  • Purple stamp pad
  • Brown colored pencil, marker or crayon
  • Paper
  1.  Make a row of 5 or 6 purple fingerprints. 
  2. Repeat with shorter rows until you end with a row containing one fingerprint and you have a triangle shape. 
  3. Add a brown stem at the top and voila! – a bunch of grapes! Repeat and fill the page.
