Homemade Tomato Ketchup

Adapted from Better Homes and Gardens.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups grape tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1 tablespoon cider vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  1. Heat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Combine all ingredients in a baking dish or on a rimmed baking sheet.

  3. Roast for 30 to 40 minutes, until tomato skins have burst and most of juice has evaporated.

  4. Place in a food processor and and process until smooth.
