U is for Upside Down Salad

This is a part of our month-long Eating the Alphabet ProjectClick here to learn more about the book and project, and to see a list of all the recipes and activities.

Make eating a salad into an event by turning the preparation into an artistic endeavor. Use colorful foods and layer them in a clear bowl as if creating sand art. When diner time arrives turn the bowl over and your salad is ready.
